Description

1- This week of July 4th is an appropriate time to discuss a recent vote in the House to approve a constitutional amendment to prevent physical desecration of the flag. You were the chief sponsor. What is your reaction to the strong vote of approval it received?; 2- What are prospects for passage in the Senate?; 3- As this is being taped, there are indications President Clinton might reject the Base Closure Commission recommendations. What is the story on this?
