1- As the ranking member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee, you have the opportunity to look out for Veterans Department activities in our state. What?╟╓s going on with our veterans programs and facilities in Mississippi?; 2- Balanced budget negotiations between conservative Democrats and the Republican leadership in the House are still underway. There is no deal yet, but there is some optimism about it. On of the issues on which the sides apparently do agree is on the level of savings in the Medicare program. Can you assure Medicare recipients that any budget plan will preserve the Medicare program?
