Description

1- Congress took quick action last week to get the railroads moving again while management and labor try to work out differences that caused a nationwide strike. Was congress right to step in with this legislation?; 2- The Senate has passed legislation to create a commission to study the rise in bankruptcies and make recommendation on how to improve the system and prevent abuses. A bill has now been introduced in the house to address the issue. Is it time to review the bankruptcy code?; 3- This country celebrates its 216th birthday this weekend and for the first time in more than 70 years, our greatest adversary, the Soviet Union, no longer exists. Someone said recently we may not full appreciate the significance of that fact. Would you agree?;
