Know allmen by then presents that I Wm. W. McDonagh of the state of Louisiana & City of New Orleans, have this day bargained and sold to D. P. Jackson of the state of Mississippi the following named slaves, noe in the state of Mississippi [[?]] Jenny aged about fifty five years Abram aged about sixty years, Harry aged twenty two, Isaac aged forty five [[?]] Ben aged about forty years, George aged forty five years and Hundley aged about sixteen years, all of the above named slaves I have sold for & in consideration of sum of four thousand dollars to me in Hand paid the receipt of which is here by acknowledged, I the [[?]] and [[?]] the above said slaves I do for myself & my heirs forever warrant & defend from all claims & demands whatever, [[?]], and Diseases accepted.
