Description
This handwritten letter, dated February 18, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia to his mother, Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter informs her that the Army Specialized Training program at Washington and Lee is, indeed, ending in April and warns her that he will likely be moved. The letter goes on to express what he will miss in Lexington and his hopes for where he will be sent. The letter is signed "All my love, Buddy" and does not include and envelope.
