Description
This handwritten letter, dated March 13, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia to his mother, Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter informs her that he still doesn't know where or when he will be shipped out, only rumors. The letter goes on to describe what he's been doing in the meantime and informs her that he will be sending his personal items to her for safekeeping. The letter is signed "Devotedly, Buddy" and does not include an envelope. The letter is written on United States Army Stationary.
