Description
This handwritten letter, dated March 15, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia to his Mother, Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter informs her that he's being transferred to the 95th Division, Indiantown, Gap, Pennsylvania and that the company will be used as replacements for the division. The letter goes on to let her know when he'll be shipping out and the plans he's making. The letter is written on United States Army stationary and is signed, "Devotedly, Buddy." No envelope is included.
