Description

This undated handwritten letter is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Camp Butner in North Carolina to his mother, Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter asks her to send money and describes what he's been doing and what his duties at camp have been. The letter is signed "Love ya' heaps, Buddy" and does not include an envelope. This handwritten letter "calls back" to the letter postmarked May 1, 1944 and was included in the envelope for that letter in the physical collection.
