Description
This handwritten letter, dated May 29, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Camp Butner in North Carolina, to his mother, Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter describes what he's been doing and thanks her for the money she sent him. The letter goes on to share that he will likely make private first class in June. The letter is written on United States Army stationary and is signed "All my love, Buddy." No envelope is included.
