Description
This handwritten letter, postmarked August 1, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. at Camp Butner in North Carolina to his sister, Kay Bogan, in Meridian, Mississippi. The letter asks after her and compliments her on her accomplishments. The letter concludes by asking her not to say anything about the possibility of his "outfit" being on alert. The letter is signed "Devotedly, Son." The envelope is postmarked Durham, North Carolina, August 1, 1944 and the postage is designated as "free."
