Description
This handwritten letter, dated August 29, 1944, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. in Durham, North Carolina to Juliette Chamberlin in Jackson, Mississippi. The letter thanks her for a cake and a portfolio she sent him. He describes the cake as "pre- Pearl Harbor quality." The letter goes on to discuss a possible move and asks her to keep that news in the family out of fear of censorship. The envelope is postmarked Durham, North Carolina, August 29, 1944.
