Description
This handwritten letter, dated December 1, 1944, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. in England to Juliette Chamberlin in Jackson, Mississippi. The letter describes his day pass trip to Liverpool. The letter is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service, December 6, 1944 with "England" written in red over the postmark. A red six cent United States of America Air Mail postage stamp is in the upper right corner and an "Air Mail" sticker is in the lower left corner with a "passed by Army Examiner" ink stamp above it.
