Description

This handwritten letter, dated December 6, 1944, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed overseas to his parents, W. N. Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter discusses some of the people he's seen there, the food, and asks for some address of people he'd like to write. The letter is signed, "Devotedly, Buddy." The air mail envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Services, December 11, 1944 and includes a red six cents U. S. Air Mail postage stamp. An Army Examiner number is ink stamped on the lower left with a signature above it.
