Description

This handwritten letter, dated February 18, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in France to his parents, W. N., Sr. and Catherine F. Bogan, in West Point, Mississippi. The letter informs them that he finally got caught up on his mail from them. He goes on to discuss the church service he attended and how group was small and an officer who isn't a chaplain led the service. The letter is signed "Love, Buddy." The War and Navy Departments envelope is postmarked U. S. Postal Service No. 1, February 27, 1945.
