Description
This handwritten letter, dated September 9, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he is stationed in Germany to his family in West Point, Mississippi. The letter describes where he is living now and what he is doing . The letter goes on to discuss news from home and a family friend who was injured in the war. The letter concludes with speculating on what he should do when he returns from deployment. The letter is signed "Your devoted son, Buddy." The air mail envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service A. P. O. Oct 31, 1945.
