Description
This handwritten letter, dated September 23, 1945, is written from W. N. (William Neill) Bogan, Jr. where he his furloughed in Scotland to his family in West Point, Mississippi. The letter describes all that he's seen and been doing while traveling on furlough. The letter describes the Scottish people as being "much nicer than the English and very outspoken in their preference for everything American." The letter is signed "Love, Buddy." The envelope is postmarked New York, New York, September 27, 1945 and the postage is designated as free.
