This handwritten letter, dated April 30, 1943, is written from W. N. Bogan Jr. at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to his mother, Catherine F. Bogan in West Point, Mississippi. The letter describes the uniforms and everything else they were assigned, the exams he's taken, and the classification interviews. The letter goes on to discuss the other boys he knows from State College who were transferred to Fort McClellan in Alabama.
