Description

In this victory mail (v-mail) letter, James F. Buchanan writes to Charlie and Dot Smith in Philadelphia from where he is stationed with the Army in France during the second world war. He describes the agricultural landscape of England and compares it, and the food, to what is in the United States. He goes on to say that he hasn't heard from anyone back home and hasn't received any packages.
