Description
This black and white postcard features a large white building with white columns across the front entrance and across each end of the building. A tall dome topped with an eagle statue is in the center of the building. A sidewalk leads up to the entrance staircase. The title "New Capitol, Jackson, Miss." is listed in the center beneath the image. An inscription is written along the bottom of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Jackson, Mississippi, October 3, 1905. The card is addressed to H. A. Don in Laurium, Michigan in care of Laurium Com. Col.
