Description
This color picture postcard of the exterior of the Bayside Motel features a large Bayside Motel sign that advertises $5 up also weekly. The motel is two stories with red brick on the bottom and alternating red and blue siding on the top floor. Mid-century cars are parked in the lot in front. An inset photo in the upper left corner of the card features one of the motel's rooms showing two beds with white bedspreads, a desk, and a view into the bathroom. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description of the motel in the upper left of the card reads "The Bay Side Motel; Located 3 Miles Southwest of Bay St. Louis on U.S. Hwy. 90 P.O. Box 424, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; Completely Air Conditioned--Room Phones--Swimming Pool--Free TV and Continuous Music--Massage-A-Rest Mattresses. 2 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico 15 minutes to Miss. NASA Test Site 'Modern New Motel with Old Southern Hospitality'"; ".50" is written in pencil at the top right of the card.
