Description
This color postcard features a the view of the St. Augustine Seminary as viewed from behind the white railing of a porch. The side of the chapel is visible to the right and Spanish moss-hung trees are seen just beyond the porch with flowers and other landscaping along the side of the chapel. The title at the bottom of the card reads "Courtyard--Saint Augustine's Seminary--Bay Saint Louis, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placemen.; The description in the top left corner reads "An Institution for the Education and Training of Colored Young Men for the Holy Priesthood and the Religious Brotherhood, 1920-1945."
