Description

This color postcard features two women seated on the steps of the seawall between the open water and the road. A pier and pier house are seen in the distance and trees are on the right side behind the street and seawall. The title, "Seawall or Road Protection Project, Biloxi, Miss." is in the upper right of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for address and postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "The huge concrete seawall protects the Old Spanish Trail Beach Boulevard at Biloxi and along the Mississippi Gulf Coast from erosion by Gulf of Mexico waters. The Harrison County seawall cost $3,500,00."
