Description
This black and white picture postcard features a long white building and a water tower as seen through a group of tall pine trees. The title in the lower left, in white ink, reads "Paper Mill, Moss Point, Miss." "FAS" is written in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gautier, Mississippi, September 4, 1913. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mis Lillian Gautier in Springfield, Missouri.
Transcription
This is the paper mill where Henry and George H. work. Dear Lillian--I received the music a few days ago and your letter a few minutes ago. I will ans. it in a few days. I am going to Mobile tomorrow and stay a week. Kiss the folks for me. Tell Fannie to write to me I am going to write to her real soon. [?]L. G.
