Description
This color postcard features a group of men standing on a large pile of discarded oyster shells. A railroad bridge is seen to the right of them. The title of the card identifies the scene as ". "Oyster Openers" and L.& N. RR Bridge, Oceans Springs, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Ocean Springs, January 14, 1913. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Hattie Mills in Danville, Illinois.

Miss Mills in the card is oyster shells. Most of the roads in Miss are oyster shells Alice Wolf. [sic]
