Description

This black and white postcard features a walkway with trees on either side, leading to a small gazebo. The title "'Avenue to our Lady of te [sic] Woods', Bay St. Louis, Miss." is typed along the bottom of the image with "Pickwick Hotel" handwritten at the end of the title. There is an inscription at the bottom edge of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and includes publisher information. A one cent postage stamp is located in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked twice. The first postmark reads "Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, April 4, 1906 " and the second postmark reads "Jackson, Mississippi, April 2, 1906." The card is addressed in black ink to Miss Maurie McQuaid in Jackson, Mississippi.
