Description

This postcard features a color illustration the Mississippi Gulf waters depicting the piers and boat launches off the beach. Trees line the left side of the street that runs along the beachfront. The title of the card is printed in red beneath the lower left of the image. Inscriptions are written along the top and bottom of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Elsa Lange in Cincinnati, Ohio. The card is postmarked Biloxi, Miss., August 18, 1907 and Cincinnati, Ohio, August 20. A green, one cent Captain John Smith postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
