Description

This color postcard features a grand four story brick hotel that wraps to a "U" shape. A long tree-lined driveway leads to the hotel. The title along the top of the card identifies the hotel as "Front View of the Great Southern Hotel, Gulfport, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi April 25, 1910. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. C. H. Owen in Lincoln, Kansas.
