Description
This color picture postcard features a white two story home with white front porch columns and railings. A chain-link fence surrounds the property. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher and artist information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "Historical Series no. 4--The Pirate House...was built in 1802 by a New Orleans man, said to be boss of the Gulf Coast Pirates. At one time the pirate, Jean La Fitte, stayed here. There are many legends about this old house." The Deep South Specialties logo is in the center. "1.75" is written in pencil in the upper right.
