This color postcard features a bird's eye view of a "U' shaped four story hotel and grounds. Trees line the two driveways leading to the hotel and a tennis court lies between the driveways. A view of the gulf is behind the hotel. The title in the upper left identifies the hotel as "Great Southern Hotel, Gulfport, Miss." Copyright information is in the lower left corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is place in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Biloxi, Mississippi, March 20, 1913. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss E. Ott in New Orleans, Louisiana.
