Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the Magnolia Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi. The hotel features a turret style tower on the left and a long front port lined with thin white columns. A large tree in front partially obscures the view of the right side of the hotel. The title of the card is printed along the top left of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. C. P. Shaver in Thibadaux, Louisiana. The card is postmarked Pass Christian, October 5, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card. An inscription is written on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
Transcription
Pass Christian, Miss. I am going now to N. O. to attend the big Christian Church meeting. Let me know if you are going to be thare and where you will stop as I would like to see you. With love Aunt Mag [sic]
