Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the New Magnolia Hotel in Pass Christian, a two to three story building with a "tower" on the left end and a long front porch with white arched details and railings. Trees and sidewalks are in the front lawn of the hotel and a large tree partially obscures the view of the right end of the hotel. The title of the card is printed beneath the bottom edge of the image and "EJ Derbes" is written to the right of it. "Made expressly for Hanson's Pharmacy, Pass Christian, Miss." is printed along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss M. Boydan in New Orleans, Louisiana. The card is postmarked Pass Christian, Mississippi, July 26, 1908 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
