Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the New Magnolia Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi, a three story building with a long front porch with arched trim under the porch roof and a turret on the left end. Bushes line the front of the house. Two large trees partially obscure the view of the hotel. The title of the card is printed below the left edge of the image. "This is the Hotel we are stopping. Mrs. Coddington" is written on the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. Paul Kelley in Mattoon, Illinois. The card is postmarked Mattoon, Illinois, March 1908 and Pass Christian, 1908. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
