Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the Mexican Gulf Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi, a three story hotel with arched molding on the porch columns and railing. Dormers line the third floor roof. An early twentieth century car is parked in front of the hotel and trees in the front partially obscure the view of the hotel. The title of the card is printed in red beneath the bottom edge of the image and an inscription is written along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Miss Sara J. Leonhard in Bay. St. Louis, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Pass Christian, August 31, 1906 and Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, August 31, 1906. A green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
