Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the New Mexican Gulf Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi, three story Spanish Colonial style hotel with arched windows, a curved portico supported by four white columns, two towers on either side of the portico. The side of the hotel wraps around with a porch and second floor balcony. Trees in the lawn and at the street partially obscure portions of the hotel. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge beneath the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss. Adrle Hospes in St. Louis, Missouri. The card is postmarked Pass Christian, Mississippi, February 25, 1910 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed upside down in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card.
