Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the New Mexican Gulf Hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi, a three story Spanish Colonial style hotel with arched windows, a curved portico supported by four white columns, and two towers are on either side of the portico. The side of the hotel wraps around with a porch and second floor balcony. Trees on the lawn and at the street partially obscure portions of the hotel. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge beneath the image. "1910" is written in blue ink in the bottom left corner and the publisher's name is printed on the lower right edge. The back of the card is addressed to Cyrimns E. Morris in Coon Rapids, Iowa. The card is postmarked Biloxi, Mississipi, March 1, 1910 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. An inscription is written sideways on the left half of the card.

2/28 Dear Bro Yours containing [?] came today "Thanks as for the card form Kintz I had cut the coupon to that Bank for collection and have today so advised Kintz to pay to Wyatt and [?] note. The weather is warm and wet round 4 inches yesterday. Looks like rain tonight. Will write letter soon your Bro. George V. Morris Pass Christian [?] [sic]
