Description
This postcard features a color illustration of the Louisville and Nashville Railroad train bridge to Ocean Springs, Mississippi. A train is depicted on the railroad bridge with smoke visible from the engine stack. A pier is also visible in the water to the left of the railroad bridge and foliage and green plants are seen from the shore looking toward the water and the bridge. The title of the card is printed in the upper left. The back of the card is addressed to Froken Sigue L. Liljequist in Killeberg, Sweden and is postmarked Ocean Springs, Mississippi, February 18, 1914. A red, two cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and an inscription is written sideways in Swedish on the left half of the card. [see transcription field]
