This color postcard features a large three story brick building with tall white columns along the front entrance and a dome in the center of the roof. The Star of David is on the gable of the side of the building. Sidewalks run along the side and front. The title in the upper left of the card identifies the building as "Temple Beth Israel, Jewish Temple, Meridian, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Meridian, Mississippi, February 29, 1916. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. R. F. Pierce in Hickory, Mississippi.
How are you all today. Hope you will have a good time as it is your birthday. Why don't you all write some times we never hear from you any more than if you were outside the world. Be good Betta [sic]
