This color postcard features a three story hotel with a yellow bottom floor and a red top floor. A sign for "Alexandra Hotel is across the top of the building and above the entrance. A banner on the right side of the card reads "Parking Lot Free" and the title across the top of the card reads "Hotel Alexandra, Columbus, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp placement. The description in the upper left reads "We are stopping at The Alexandra Hotel Columbus, Miss. Rates $2.00 to $5.00. Modern--Fireproof--Air-Conditioned--Steam Heated--Free Parking Lot. Coffee Shop in Connection."
