Description

This black and white postcard features a large room with various chairs, flags, and ferns. The windows and doors along the walls all have dark trim and moldings. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Reception Hall The Stone Hotel, Columbus, Miss." The publisher is listed in the lower left corner of the image. A faded postmark is in the lower part of the image. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for correspondence, address, and postage stamp placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card's postmark date, 1908 is the only legible part. The card is briefly inscribed and is addressed to Mrs. Laura Fronsfield in Van West O.
