Description

This black and white photograph features a large three story building with six white columns across the front entrance. Other buildings are on either side of it and all of the buildings are situated behind a black iron fence. Trees line the sidewalk near the fence and are dotted throughout the grassy areas in front of the buildings. The title across the top identifies the image as a "Scene on Campus. Columbus, Miss." [At the time of the photograph the campus was named "Industrial Institute and College for the Education of White Girls."]
