Description
This color postcard features a dirt street with buildings and utility poles on either side. The front building on the right has signs for H. M. McAmis Drug Co., Cigars and Soda Water on the side of the facade. A sign for "Board and lodging for one dollar a day" hangs from the balcony on the front building on the left. "Filmore Street Business Section, Corinth, Miss." is in the upper right of the card. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides printer information. A green on cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked Corinth, Mississippi, August 2, 1906. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Irena Phipps in Juliette, Georgia.

Hello I am real glad you are having such a nice time. Think of me once in a while. We are have fine times since Mr. Y has gone. Mr. Coe has gone too, to he said he was going to take a little vacation but we don't know where he went some think he is not coming back Mr. Steward has charge of the school. I certainly did appreciate your card. Be good yourself and have a good time. Maggie H. [sic]
