Description

This black and white picture postcard features a group of sailors in white uniforms and hats carrying a mix of guns and drums while walking down a dirt path. Trees are on either side of the path and a white house or building can be seen in the distance behind them. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides photographer information, as well as, indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked for New York, July 4, 1911. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Mr. J. T. Janz in Keene, New Hampshire.
