Description
This color postcard features a large white naval ship on the open water. Three funnels/stacks are in the center of the ship and a mast is on each end of the ship. The title along the top of the card reads "1276--U. S. Battleship "Virginia." 812 Officers and men. Length 435 feet. Main Battery 24 guns." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information, as well as, indication for correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right and the card is postmarked Bremerton, Washington, August 22, 1910.
