This sepia toned picture postcard features a British Submarine being towed by a U. S. Destroyer in open water. The destroyer has a large "46" on the side. The title in the lower left corner reads "A Crippled British Submarine in Tow by a U. S. Destroyer" and the photographers' names are listed in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for postage stamp placement.
