The cover art for this issue is by Irina von Wiese -- a human rights lawyer, academic, and former member of the European Parliament. As Vice Chair of the European Parliament’s Human Rights Committee, and in her subsequent work in the UK, she has focused on the shrinking space for civil society and the right to protest.
