Description

This color postcard features a busy street with buildings and utility poles on either side of the street. People are walking the sidewalks and a horses and buggies or wagons are on the right side of the street. A postmark for Somerville, New Jersey, March 20, 1906. The date is inscribed in the upper left and an inscription is handwritten along the bottom edge of the card. The title beneath the image reads "Thirteenth Street, Gulfport, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address and postage stamp placement, though the postage stamp has been removed. The card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi, March 17, 1906 and is addressed to Mr. Orville Lance in Somerville, New Jersey.
