Description

This postcard features a black and white photograph of the Tulane Hotel in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The hotel is a two story, white clapboard structure with a long porch along the front as well as a balcony along the second story. Chimneys are visible in multiple places along the roof. A picket fence runs in front of the hotel and the branches of a large tree partially obscures the right end of the hotel. The title, Tulane Hotel, Bay St. Louis, Miss" is printed beneath the image. The back of the postcard is addressed to Mr. Sam R. Knight in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The card is postmarked March 12, 1906 and a green, one cent Benjaman Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
