Description

This color postcard features a white shell road with wooden fence, piers, trees and utility poles on the left. A lighthouse is seen on the far end of the street. The title in the lower left reads "The Shell Road, Biloxi, Miss." Copyright information is listed in the lower right. An inscription is handwritten along the bottom. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides indication for address placement. A red one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right and the card is postmarked twice. The first postmark is Biloxi, Mississippi, July 20, 1906 and the second is New Orleans, Louisiana, July 20, 1906. The card is addressed to Miss F. Robertson in New Orleans, Louisiana.
