This postcard features a black and white image of the interior retail space of Globe headquarters in Gulfport, Mississippi, a clothing retail business. The Gulfport Directory of 1912 lists the Globe Clothing Company, Inc. “clothing, shoes, and men’s furnishings” located on 14th at the corner of 26th Avenue in Gulfport. The image shows a man in a suit standing behind a glass topped display counter on the left of the image and clothing stacked high on display counters on the right. Men are standing among the clothing display and two glass front cabinets displaying various styles of men's hats are on the wall to the right. More shelves on the right display what appears to be shoe boxes. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image. An inscription is written in what appears to be French along the bottom edge of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Charles Lang in Zurich, Switzerland. The card is postmarked Gulfport, Mississippi, June 13, 1906 and a red, two cent George Washington postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
