Description

This black and white postcard features a street with a large white house behind a white fence. The house bares six white columns across the front entrance and is surrounded by trees. A utility pole is on the opposite side of the fence from the house. The title in the upper right identifies the street as "Washington Ave. Ocean Springs, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides correspondence and address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the item is postmarked Ocean Springs, Mississippi, August 18, 1914. The card is inscribed and is addressed Miss. Edyth Ott in New Orleans, Louisiana.
